Maruti Suzuki Celerio

On November 10, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio 2021 was unveiled in India by the brand Maruti Suzuki. 

Engine and Transmission

The Maruti Celerio comes with a 1-liter petrol engine (67PS/89Nm) that comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 5-speed AMT. Idle start/stop technology is available on this engine from Maruti. Maruti may possibly offer a CNG trim option in the future.

Exterior design

All-new front and rear bumpers, sweptback headlamps, front bumper with a large black insert, fog lights, blacked-out B-pillars, new 15-inch black alloy wheels, a driver-side door-mounted request sensor, ORVMs with turn indicators, a rear wiper and washer, and new tail lights are among the design highlights of the second-generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio.

Interior design and features

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio has a free-standing SmartPlay touchscreen entertainment system, a height-adjustable driver seat, an engine start-stop button, a new AMT lever, front power windows, steering-mounted controls, and rectangular air vents on the inside. Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, seat-belt reminder, hill start assist, and a rear defogger are all included in the model's safety features.

Safety

Dual front airbags, hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors are included in the safety package.

The Tata Tiago, Datsun GO, Maruti Wagon R, and Hyundai Santro are all competitors.
