Maruti Suzuki XL6

From the inception of the Omni in 1984 until the launch of this car, the XL6, in 2019, Maruti Suzuki has always been a prominent player in the people carrier market. It is the next step in their people carrier series, providing the luxury of a six-seater. There are four different variations, each with a different engine and transmission.

Engine and Transmission

It has the same 1.5-litre petrol engine (105PS/138Nm) as the Ertiga, plus mild-hybrid technology, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter.

Features

The six-seat luxury MPV comes equipped with captain chairs in the middle row, as well as cruise control, SmartPlay Studio with smartphone connectivity, automated headlights, and other amenities. The XL6's interior has an all-black motif, with luxury stone accents and silver highlights on the dashboard and door pads.

The vehicle is built on the Heartect platform, and it comes standard with the Nexa safety shield, which includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), front seat belts with pretensioners and force limiters, ISOFIX, hill hold assist, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), high speed warning alert, driver/co-driver seat belt reminder, and reverse parking sensors.

Safety 

Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors are all standard safety equipment.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Mahindra Marazzo, and Toyota Innova Crysta are among the competitors for the Maruti XL6.
