Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki introduced their multi-purpose vehicle(MPV) Ertiga back in April 2012 during the Auto Expo 2012 in Delhi. 

Specifications and Engine parts
The Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 105PS and 138Nm and is connected to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter. The CNG-petrol version has the same 1.5-liter petrol engine as the mild-hybrid version but without the mild-hybrid technology. It claims to have a fuel economy of 26.08km/kg, but its power and torque dip to 92PS and 122 Nm. The stated efficiency of the petrol engine with the MT and AT variants is 19.01 km/l and 17.99 km/l respectively.

Exterior design 
Halogen projector headlights, a chrome grille, fog lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, rear wiper, and washer, body-colored ORVMs, and chrome door handles are among the Ertiga's design features.

Interior design & Features
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga's interior features a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, flat-bottom steering wheel, steering-mounted controls, automatic climate control, faux wood inserts, height-adjustable driver seat, engine start-stop button, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, rear defogger, and keyless entry. Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a seat belt reminder system, a speed-alert system, ESP, hill hold control, speed-sensing door lock, and a rearview camera are among the model's safety features.

Safety
Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and reverse parking sensors are all standard on the Maruti Ertiga. For further safety, Maruti has included ESP and hill hold, however, these functions are only available in the automatic version.

Rivals
The Renault Triber, Mahindra Marazzo, and Toyota Innova Crysta are all competitors for the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
