BMW X1

On March 5, 2020, the X1's second-generation makeover (codenamed F48) was unveiled in India.

Transmission and Engine
The BMW X1 is available with both a gasoline and diesel engine. A 1,998cc turbocharged in-line four-cylinder petrol engine produces 189 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. Second, there's a 1,995cc turbocharged in-line four-cylinder diesel with 188bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The gasoline engine is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel engine is mated to an eight-speed transmission.

Exterior design
The X1 features BMW's trademark design concept, which is carried over to the rest of the X series SUVs. It has the traditional kidney grille with a gleaming chrome finish. All-LED headlights, fog lamps, and taillights are also included. In addition, BMW provides three different 17-inch alloy wheel options, with the Tech Edition getting a set of 18-inch wheels.

Interior design
The interior of the X1 has Sensatec synthetic leather upholstery in either an Oyster/Black or all-Black theme. There's also a TFT multimedia display on the analogue instrument cluster. The X1 comes with a variety of infotainment touchscreen devices, ranging in size from 6.5 inches to 10.25 inches, depending on the version.
Anti-dazzle side mirrors, a seven-speaker HiFi sound system, heads-up display, dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, six airbags, attentiveness attention, TPMS, traction control, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and six dimmable ambient lighting colors are all standard on the X1.

Safety
Six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), an electronic parking brake, and ISOFIX child seat anchors are included in the BMW X1's safety features.
